Completing an internship at The Highlands at Harbor Springs will not only expand your knowledge of the hospitality-resort industry it will also provide you with the necessary real world experience you will need in your selected career path. Within our five major divisions, including golf & retail, ski & waterpark, lodging & spa, food & beverage, and administrative offices we are able to offer a large variety of exciting opportunities that will benefit you and your future in the hospitality industry.
When completing an internship with BOYNE, students are provided with opportunities that go beyond Michigan as we are part of the second largest privately owned resort network in North America. Our interns are exposed to numerous opportunities to network and secure full-time employment post-graduation!

Most internship opportunities are considered to be full time in which hours are based on business flow.
Compensation and Benefits
All internships completed with BOYNE are paid. As with any opportunity with BOYNE, compensation will vary based on knowledge and experience.
Boyne offers an adventurous entertainment package including discounts on: season golf/ski/waterpark passes, meals, spa/salon services, retail, bike rentals, snowsports rentals/lessons, trail rides and tennis. Additional benefits include Friends & Family vouchers, referral bonuses and service recognition programs/awards. Team members are entitled to participate in benefits and incentives when eligible.
Interns need to arrange housing prior to their arrival whether it is through employee housing or on their own. BOYNE offers limited housing on a temporary basis to individuals 18 years of age or older when available. We can also assist you with your search by providing you with a list of local housing options and resources available.
