Mountain Maps
Over the years, The Highlands tradition has grown to embrace the winter season like a homecoming. When winter arrives each year, we're in our element -- ready to share Michigan's finest skiing and snowboarding with longtime friends - and a steady stream of new ones to the Harbor Springs area.
At The Highlands, our winter visitors have access to 53 beautifully groomed and maintained downhill runs, and a wide variety of terrain parks suited to riders and skiers of every ability - all served by a network of lifts designed to make the most of each and every day. And when skiing and riding winds down, the fun continues. With tubing, snowshoeing and a host of other activities available, you'll find more than enough fun to chase away the winter blues.
Night Grooming
For the safety of our guests on night skiing days, beginning at 4:30pm daily, we will shut down a section of the ski area while grooming takes place. We estimate this to take only about 60 minutes before reopening for use. The same process will happen again at 5:30pm for a different section. We appreciate our guest's understanding in our efforts to provide the best skiing conditions possible.
