Boyne Highlands Gears Up for Ski Season

Boyne Highlands Resort in Harbor Springs is targeting Wednesday, December 16 as the opening day of the 20/21 winter season.  The resort is opening in phases, first to season passholders, Ikon passholders, and resort lodging guests, and then on Saturday, December 19 to day ticket guests.  It is strongly advised that lift tickets be purchased online to secure access to the slopes.

Upon opening, lift hours are 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with extended night skiing hours, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., beginning on December 26 and running daily through the holidays.

“We realize the season will be different, but we are excited and thankful to have the opportunity to enjoy winter sports,” said Mike Chumbler, Boyne Highlands’ president and general manager.  “We know our passholders and guests are as eager as we are to be underway, and we encourage everyone to review our safety protocols before hitting the slopes.  Working together, and masking up, will allow us all to have a safe and fun winter season.”

In addition to skiing and snowboarding, Boyne Highlands is opening for winter season lodging stays beginning on December 19, and will also have equipment rental, retail, food and beverage offerings, and more available.
