Celebrate the Summer Solistice
This is a celebration of the Summer Solstice, when we embrace the longest day of the year and invite you to lean into the warmth and wonder of the season. As a lodging guest, you can join in on all the festivities.
Summer Soirée Festivities
The festivities will take place on both Friday and Saturday (June 20-21)
- 8 AM - 9 AM | Greet the Sun with Family Sun Salutation: Join us next to the pool for a family sun salutation, a series of yoga poses to stretch and invigorate the body. This is a Saturday-only activity.
- 4 PM | Vegetable Planting: Head to the lakeside patio to get your hands dirty and plant a vegetable garden for a fall harvest. Each participant will plant vegetables in terra cotta clay planters to take home, sourced from Amish suppliers for an organic touch.
- 7 PM - 9 PM | Burn Negative: Gather around the bonfire to symbolically let go of any struggles or habits you want to leave behind. Write them down and toss them into the flames, embracing the solstice as a fresh start.
- 7 PM - 9 PM | Start Summer Resolutions: Spend time by the bonfire creating a summer thrill list or bucket list with your family. Use poster boards and markers to brainstorm and put together your must-dos and wish lists as a family.
- 9 PM - 11 PM | Late Night Stargazing Bonfire: Extend the evening with a late-night bonfire featuring a telescope for stargazing.
- 9 PM - 11 PM | LED Crown and Foam Stick Night: After dark, don LED flower crowns and LED foam sticks for an illuminated experience.
Enjoy the late sunset, warm weather, and northern Michigan vibes for this fun celebration.
