The Team Member Experience
I am Amanda Bomers and I have worked at The Highlands for 10.5 years with many opportunities to enjoy all that is offered to employees.
I started in January of 2012 as a food server in the Zoo Bar. I worked in Food and Beverage for 2-years and then had an opportunity to apply for an in-house job as a human resource generalist. Being behind the scenes and working with managers and team members has been a fantastic experience. Since October 2013, I have strived to be the best I can be in human resources and worked my way up to Director of HR in 2017. We have a small group in Human Resources, and we are consistently looking to improve our team members' experience!
The best part of my career here at The Highlands is the joy I get to see on my son's face! Why do I love The Highlands? Just ask my son! I do it for him! He will be zooming past me this upcoming winter. He started skiing at 15 months and LOVES it! Those moments with my son would not be possible if I didn't work for such an amazing place like The Highlands.

As a team member of The Highlands, you will receive great perks and opportunities. We are a small portion of a vast network of ski resorts around North America with reciprocal perks at all of our Boyne Resorts.
We offer all full-time seasonal and above team members a free ski and golf pass (applies to the seasons you work.) Not only do you get free access, but so do your children, 21 and under, and spouse! Hit the green during the summer and enjoy fresh powder days in winter. If you are only looking for part-time, we offer you a FREE pass and discounted family passes.
