🍲 Junior & Teen Cooking Class

Learn the Basics - July 11

Designed for budding chefs aged 8-17. Dive into the culinary world as you learn essential skills like caramelization and flavor pairing in an engaging and interactive environment. Put your newfound knowledge to the test as you craft a delicious 4-course dinner featuring soup, salad, pasta, and dessert. Invite your friends and family to a meal created by you! 

  • $45 per student
  • Time:  2 PM - 4 PM, dinner to follow at 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM
  • Groups will be divided by age (8-12 or 13-17).
  • Learn the basics, from cooking terms to cooking skills.
  • Create a 4-course dinner and invite your friends & family. Dinner price for guests: $32 for adults, $19 ages 6-12, 5 & under are free.
  • Participants will receive a personalized Highlands chef coat to wear during class and to take home. Those who register after July 3 will receive their chef's coat after class.

Sommelier Led Interactive Wine Dinner - August 24

Join us for a wine dinner guided by our knowledgeable sommelier! Explore the art of pairing wines with food as we share insights and taste various wines alongside tasty small bites. Together, we'll select the perfect wines to complement our dinner menu, creating a fun dining experience.

  • $85 per person
  • Learn about pairing wines and what to consider.
  • Learn about difficult foods to pair and become an expert at pairing the best wine with any meal.
  • Put your knowledge to the test by voting on the wines to pair with dinner.

🥘 Adult Cooking Class

The Midwestern Cuisine- October 5

Join us for an Adult Cooking Class featuring the flavors of Midwestern Cuisine! Enjoy an interactive culinary experience, learning about flavors and cooking techniques like Sous Vide and Mother Sauces. Put your newfound knowledge to the test as you craft a dinner with all that you've learned. Invite your friends and family to a meal created by you! 

  • $65 per student
  • Time:  1 PM - 4 PM, dinner to follow at 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM
  • Sparkling wine to kick off the class
  • Interactive discussion on flavors, buying the right products, and learning new techniques (sous vide, mother sauces and soups, Maillard reaction, etc.)
  • Create dinner with your newfound skills and invite your friends & family. Dinner price for guests: $45 for adults, $19 for kids 12 and under.
  • Receive a Highlands logoed apron as a memento for your culinary adventure.
