Get ready for a special weekend at The Highlands, where two special guests will join us from northern Michigan: Amanda Borghi, a Certified Sound Healing Practitioner, and Kalin Sheick from Sweetwater Floral. We've crafted a very special weekend to reset and refocus with yoga, relaxation, and a little bit of creativity with floral design.
If you stay overnight, your package will include a champagne welcome reception, breakfast on Saturday morning, and Sunday brunch at Country Club of Boyne.

⭐ Yoga and Meditation with Amanda Borghi
A half-day of self-care experiences for mothers, daughters, grandmothers, and granddaughters to be mindful and celebrate the incredible energy of motherhood.
Session 1: S.H.E Yoga
This class, created and only offered by instructor Amanda Borghi, is customized for the feminine spirit. It will support you in surrendering, holding space, and embracing all that you are. Movements will inspire you to connect with your body, breath, and energy. This class is created for all levels, and no experience is necessary. You will finish feeling celebrated, empowered, and like the authentic goddess you are.
Session 2: Sound Healing Meditation
Sound Healing invites you to tap into your calm and ease. Participants get comfy on their mats with pillows and blankets. They are guided through meditation supported by the sounds, frequency, and vibration of unique instruments- like quartz crystal bowls, gongs, chimes, and drums. This is like a massage for your nervous system and interacts with the body on a cellular level.
🌸 Centerpiece Design with Kalin Sheick from Sweetwater Floral
We are excited to announce that Sweetwater Floral will be offering our guests a centerpiece workshop over Mother's Day Weekend.
Learn the basics of creating stunning centerpieces using beautiful fresh flowers, a lifelong skill you'll call on time and time again! You'll leave class with a gorgeous centerpiece created in a vessel you'll get to keep and practice on at home as often as you like! Utilizing the foundational skills coined by Sweetwater, "Focal. Filler. Flair." take the intimidation out of flowers and have fun with Mom!
Please Note: These workshop events are open to the public and lodging guests ages 16 and up; minors must be accompanied by an adult. Admission to each session and lodging must be purchased separately.

Meet Amanda & Kalin
Amanda is a Certified Sound Healing Practitioner, Licensed Neuromuscular Massage Therapist, 200 hour Registered Yoga Trainer. She has a love for combining knowledge and science with feeling and awareness.
Amanda was born and raised in southern Michigan and spent her childhood summers in Petoskey. Her education, life, and career moved her around, and she is thrilled to return to the place she began. Amanda’s mission is to create and hold uniquely curated spaces for individuals to slow down, experience ease, rest and reconnect to themselves.
Kalin Sheick is an award-winning floral designer who flowers for events across northern Michigan. Kalin, her husband Matt, and their small team operate a full-service flower shop in the picturesque Village of Walloon Lake, MI.
Leaving behind a career in television to flower, Kalin has gone where no florist has gone before -- from TED talks to teaching workshops throughout the country, to hosting the country's largest wreath festival and being featured on QVC for her famous Wreath Kit, Kalin is a creative force with a gift for connection.
